Shaving drip rails is nearly common place on most hotrods these days.
It adds certain "flair" and gives most trucks a "finished look. This truck
dared to be different, however, by adding a set of drip rails after the
original ones were shaved. It truly adds a unique look.

Wheel tubs were pre-fabbed |

Here the wheel tubs are mocked up in place |

Here is the notch in the floor pan and the wheel tubs mocked up and

finish it off |

The driver side rear corner was covered heavily in body filler |

A little more grinding revealed more damage |

replaced |

First the wheel well flare was remade |

Next the pieces are made to form the entire rear corner |

Grinding on the passenger side revealed a near identical issue |

Again the damaged pieces were all removed |
