Why is Scott’s Hotrods Different?

At Scott’s Hotrods we believe, wholeheartedly, that the key to enjoying a hotrod lies in the suspension underneath it and in making the decision to never settle for anything less than perfection.

Currently, we manufacture dozens of A-arms such as Mustang II, GM A-body and full-size Chevy trucks. However, there are often times that a customer will need a custom application to suit their needs. Realizing that there was a need to make custom tubular a-arms for customers who weren’t running a standard length or standard application a-arm, we designed a program in order to fill the need without breaking the bank.

Our custom A-arm program simply requires you to ship your set of arms to us directly. We will make a custom set of jigs for your a-arms and before you know it, you will have a set of custom built tubular a-arms for your street rod, car or truck. Using our billet, stainless rod-ends for more adjustability, these a-arms will properly align the camber and caster for less tire wear and more drivability.

Typical custom application requests are:

  • Narrowed tracks
  • Wider tracks
  • Limited production vehicles
  • Late model vehicles

Starting At $1,250

In most cases, the a-arms will be built from 1-1/8”x1/4” wall D.O.M. tubing; identical to what our custom ifs a-arms are built from. They will be 100% TIG welded and will include ball joints and custom cross shafts if applicable. We guarantee all of our custom a-arms to align to spec, or to match the customer’s specifications.
