Scott’s Hotrods Independent Front Suspension (IFS) Kits are engineered for builders who want modern handling, improved steering geometry and a clean installation without relying on a generic Mustang II-style front suspension. Our Front Steer Weld-On IFS is designed for a wide range of hot rods, classic cars and trucks and is built around Scott’s proprietary suspension geometry, heavy-duty components and modern rack-and-pinion steering.

Unlike a universal hot rod front suspension kit, every Scott’s IFS is configured around the vehicle’s application, track width, ride height and intended use. The system features heavy-duty tubular control arms, coilover suspension and a front-mounted rack-and-pinion, creating a complete independent front suspension upgrade engineered for everything from comfortable street-driven classics to high-horsepower performance builds.
